Information on the disposal of waste equipment

Separate collection of waste equipment

The symbol of the crossed-out wheeled bin means that an electrical device must not be disposed of with household waste, but must be taken by the end user to a separate collection.

Your obligations as a user

Users are themselves responsible for deleting personal data from their waste equipment before returning it. Batteries, rechargeable batteries and waste lamps should – where possible – be removed from the waste equipment before disposal.

For private households

You can find free collection points via your city or municipal administration. Distributors with a sales area of at least 400 m² for electrical and electronic equipment are obliged to take back old electrical and electronic equipment free of charge.

For business customers

For business customers, we agree on the return or disposal of waste equipment on a case-by-case basis. If it is not possible to hand the equipment in at the relevant collection points, please contact us directly.

Registration

The company is registered with the Stiftung Elektro-Altgeräte Register (Foundation for the Register of Waste Electrical Equipment).
