BSI-compliant adapter for existing meters
The BAB-01 is an adapter developed specifically for modern metering devices (mME). It enables the secure connection of products such as the EHZ541, DTZ541 and DDZ285 to a smart meter gateway (SMGw) according to TR-03109.
This upgrades existing meters to an intelligent metering system (iMSys) – without replacing the meter itself.

Interfaces: 2 × 6P6C (LMN-1 / LMN-2) and 1 × 6P6C to the mME. Compact design for mounting under the terminal cover; supports RS-232 and RS-485. Operating temperature −25 °C to +55 °C, environmental classes M1 / E2, service life 20 years, dimensions 58.5 × 40.4 × 22.3 mm. Allows existing meters (e.g. EHZ541, DTZ541, DDZ285) to be upgraded to an intelligent metering system without replacing the meter. Make: DIINNO GmbH or equivalent.
