DIN-rail distributor with 4 × RJ12 – distributes the LMN bus to up to four devices
The LMN-BS4 is an LMN (local metrological network) bus distributor for DIN-rail mounting. It distributes the LMN bus of the smart meter gateway (SMGw) to up to four devices – for example modern metering devices (mME) with optical communication head. All four RJ12 sockets are wired through 1:1; mounting on the DIN rail (TH35) is tool-free.
Two versions are available: LMN-BS4-P is fully passive. LMN-BS4-A additionally provides a 12 V auxiliary supply via terminal – for larger buses with 6 to 10 meters, when the supply from the SMGw is not sufficient.

Dimensions without rail clip. On type -A, the 12 V supply is fed via the terminal to pin 2 / pin 3 of the sockets.

Pin assignment
Assignment of the RJ12 sockets (6P6C). The distributor connects all sockets 1:1; plug and socket each show pin 1 on the left to pin 6 on the right and differ in the position of the latch.
